MOBEXA, LLC — operating as Six Guard Transport — was founded with one mission: to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate mobility solutions for the people who need them most. As a veteran-, woman-, and service-disabled–owned business, we bring integrity, professionalism, and a people-first mindset to every service we provide.
Our Story
Our story began with Cynthia Houdek, a U.S. Air Force and Army Reserve veteran and former 911 dispatcher with over 20 years of public safety experience. Through her service, she witnessed firsthand the barriers veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities face when dependable transportation isn’t available.
Our Mission
Driven by a lifelong commitment to service and community, Cynthia founded MOBEXA to bridge those gaps—offering dignified, dependable, and inclusive mobility services that help clients maintain independence, access, and peace of mind.

Today, MOBEXA proudly serves Northeast Ohio through Six Guard Transport, specializing in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and companion care. With a steadfast commitment to innovation and community service, MOBEXA continues to grow its impact while advancing our mission of Mobility, Excellence, and Accessibility.
Our Services
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT): Our Six Guard Transport Division provides safe, professional transport for wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory clients. Our trained drivers deliver every ride with care, punctuality, and respect—helping clients reach appointments and daily destinations with confidence.
Patient Companion Care: Personalized, non-medical assistance for clients who need extra support. We escort clients to appointments, provide wait-and-return service, and offer peace of mind through compassionate, dignified care.
